Knoxville Wholesale Furniture Launches Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines
May 17, 2016

The furniture industry is abuzz, talking about how TV’s popular “fixer-upper and house-flipping couple,” Chip and Joanna Gaines, are launching a lifestyle collection — a collection that makes it easy for homeowners to duplicate and be inspired by their fabulously chic style.

Knoxville Wholesale Furniture (KWF), the leading furniture retailer in this region, has exclusivity to feature their trademark furniture. It’s available now for purchase in KWF’s beautiful, expansive showrooms located in West and North Knoxville. This is reportedly the largest display of the Magnolia Home gallery in the mid-South.

The TV designers, who have four children, recently debuted the line of USA-made furniture and accessories at the International Home Furnishings Market in North Carolina. “We’re super excited to share the couple’s enthusiasm for a lifestyle promoting home and family,” states Tim Harris, President of Knoxville Wholesale Furniture. “This is a highly anticipated compilation and we are extraordinarily pleased to bring this to this area as the exclusive retailer.”

TV viewers have admired Joanna’s ability to give homes new zest while preserving character details. “I really want every design and piece to tell a story,” she says. The gorgeous, eclectic furniture features furnishings for every room as well as decorative accessories with unexpected flair; hand-finishing with paint brushes; and/ or pops of fresh colors. Furniture shoppers can choose from various themes such as Primitive, Industrial, Boho, French Inspired, Farm and Traditional genres. “Or you may want to mix and match. That’s the beauty of this collection, it encourages you to be you and define your home in a way that reflects your individuality,” Mr. Harris says. “New styles will be coming in waves, so shoppers will want to come in often.”

Future launches will include a complete collection of rugs and down pillows (in August). And an introduction of Magnolia Homes Kids. “We have had more pre-interest in this than anything ever,” Mr. Harris says. “We have people coming into the store asking for it.”

Knoxville Wholesale Furniture will celebrate its 25th year in the spring and is the largest independent furniture retailer in Tennessee with a record $42 million in annual sales last year, outselling five area competitors combined. Since partnering with The Bingham Group marketing agency, record sales have been achieved. The Bingham Group is led by owner and President Lisa Bingham and has more than 25 years of award-winning experience.
